Sugared almonds were the traditional wedding favours but now there are many different types and styles of favours available From small boxes of chocolates in peronalized boxes to miniture bottles of alchol. There are many companies that specialize in personalized wedding favours or if you wish you can purchase materials where you can make your own favours. This is something that can be done well in advance of the day. Small boxes that will hold a few luxury chocolates or sugared almonds can be bought decorated with ribbons, flowers or, beads or the almonds could be bound in voile dioly and decorated with ribbons and lace. Some couples like to give the lady sweets and the gentleman a miniture bottle. The choice of favour is entirely up to the couple and to the style and theme of their wedding. Favours can however be costly and they are not an essential part of the wedding and some couples if on a tight budget will choose not to have them. The favours are usually placed on the table at the place setting where the guest will sit.
